As a celebration of World Book Day parents and carers were invited in to join us to share some stories.
There were lots of lovely stories being shared ranging from 'Handas Suprise', 'The Rainbow fish', 'Old Mcdonald', 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?', and lots of fairytale figures and dinosaurs out to act out the story. The children and grown ups enjoyed telling the stories using the story sacks and puppets.
In the morning we all joined in with Miss Sharp to re tell the story using actions of 'The Three Little Pigs'.
Mr Brown also came into the Nursery in the afternoon to tell us an English Folk Tale where we all got involved and loved hearing his fantastic tale.
We had a fantastic day telling stores and hope to hear lots more being told as we learn new stories to share with one another. Remember you can tell grown ups stories at home and the come into school and share them with everyone. Storytelling and sharing a story should never end the fun has only just begun!
