KUW day 2015

In Early years we had a special day where parents came in to enjoy a day of Knowledge and understanding the world. We had lots of different activities to explore and enjoy. Some of these included; looking after our snail and feeding him, we got to learn lots about what he likes to eat and where he is from, we had cheese and bread tasting which was yummy and we all had a try even if we thought we might not like some we still tried it! We had gloop and different sensory materials to feel and look at, we observed and learnt about our frogs and tadpoles, we had a go at writing Chinese numbers and made texture pictures using lentils and seeds. We also got to plant our own seeds and did some gardening.
