Postman visit 2016

We have been very lucky again this week to have a special visit from two Postmen to tell us about their job and how they can help us! 

They told us how they deliver the post to our houses using a bag and sometimes in a big trolley. They also wear a uniform to look smart and this helps us know we can say hello to them. We talked about the big red post boxes where we post our letters and that to write a letter we put someones name and a stamp on the front of an envelope. They even told us that they also help Santa deliver Christmas presents when he is very busy. We got to try on their hats, jackets and bags, it was very fun!
