BEES UK Bespoke Engaging Educational services have given us all the necessary equipment
and means to hatch some baby chicks.

On Monday 4th March the eggs were delivered to us where they had already been incubated for 14 days. We have then got 7 days let for the incubation process to continue.
We then added moistened paper for the eggs to rest on.
On day 21: 11th March we have a hatched chick!!! After 24 hours we will then transfer the chicks to the Brooder where they will live. The chick will need to stay in the incubator to dry and for the time being it will feed off the yolk sacks until they can then eat.
5 out of the 6 chicks hatched we named them:
banana, cuddles, sweetie, Helen and Lucky
