We all went on a treasure hunt with our class. The naughty pirates stole our class bears and we went on an adventure to look for them. We followed the clues to find the next until we eventually came to the trim trail where our beard had been kidnapped. We were all relieved when we rescued the bears!
Activities throughout the day ranged form, map making, telescope making, letters in a bottle, pirate play dough, pirate themed water trays, buried treasure in the sand, pirate themed puzzles, IWB games, Pirate ship small world play, locks and keys for funky fingers and of course our pirate ship in our outdoor play area was used and great imaginations were able to flourish!
