Mrs Mee: Class Mascot

On Monday we had a special guest come into visit us. The lovely Danielle came in from Jelly Bears to help us choose and make our new class mascot.
The children had a choice between a crocodile, lamb or monkey. The majority voted for the monkey. The children then took in turns to make a wish on a heart which was put inside monkey. The children were each given some fluff to put inside too.
Once monkey was stuffed, the children voted on a butterfly outfit for monkey to wear and as a class we decided to name her Mavis.
The children really enjoyed this activity. They are very excited about the prospect of having a weekend adventure with Mavis.
