Our First Welly Walk. FA

On Thursday afternoon we went on our first Welly Walk. We went around the school looking at the field and the environmental area where we smelt the lavender and rosemary that was growing there. We then made our way to the fire pit and found that lots of plants had grown in the holidays so  we did some weeding. Whilst weeding we discovered lots of mini-beasts and the children really  enjoyed watching them move about, there were squeals of excitement and laughter! Next time we will build a fire, we are looking forward to the

marshmallows and hot chocolate!
