Mrs Mee: Welly Walk-Painting

For our welly walk today we painted pictures using natural materials. Instead of using paint brushes we used interesting natural, found objects to create our masterpieces. We also used poster paint and water colours.
The children found painting using leaves tricky because the paint wouldn't stay on them but painting with sticks, stones and pine cones much easier. The children also preferred the brightness of the poster paints.
Of course we lit the camp fire, had a biscuit and a warm hot chocolate :-)
