Topic Research skills: Space and planets

For our topic this week we have been learning about space, planets and the moon. This theme has also worked well with our lego challenge looking at building and making card /houses for the moon.

In small groups we all learnt how to use our own research skills to find out new information=ion. We looked throught the non-fiction book, where we learnt what an index and contents pages is. We looked at the pictures and learnt new facts about our solar system.

With our new knowledge we then put pictures of the planets in order.

We also used an app on the IPad to look at all the star constellations.
