Early years topic: Light and dark

This week the children explored light and dark through the use of torches and shadows.
The children used different objects to create a shadow and also used the shadow puppets they made for our art skill.

We learnt all about different light sources and how some objects are transparent and some are opaque. We discussed how the sun is a light source and at night time is is dark.
