Our senses: touch Topic

This week for our topic on senses we are looking at touch. We named the parts of or hands and then we talked about how important our sense of touch is. We discussed how it helps us become aware of dangers such at touching something hot.

We then carried out a short experiment where we felt different objects in a bag, them using a glove we touched the same objects again to see the difference. We noticed that it was better to feel things without a barrier on our hands and how lucky we are to have our sense of touch.

Our main activity was to then use different adjectives to describe what we could see. We used words such as bumpy, sharp, soft, hard, smooth and lumpy.
