Topic: our senses - eyesight

For our topic today we all looked at the importance of our eyes. We looked at the different parts and functions and named the parts such as eyelid, eye lashes pupil and iris. We also looked at what eye colour we have. We discussed how we go to the opticians to get our eyes checked to make sure they are healthy.

We explored magnifying glasses and mirrors to look at our eyes. We noticed how magnifying glasses make things look bigger.
