This week we are continuing to look at 2D and 3D shapes. We have been going on 3D shape hunts around our playground, coloring in Shape pictures with a specific colour for each shape, drawing around shapes to make a picture and sorting out everyday objects according to their properties e.g. all of the objects with corners together.
We have also been working very hard on remember what makes that shape e.g. a square have 4 equal sides.
Please ask your child about shapes...
If you want to give them a challenge see they can remember what makes a pentagon and hexagon 👍 ‘How many sides’?
