Literacy: To tell the story independently, focusing on the character. In this lesson, we will practice activities to prepare students to tell the story independently. Topic: To explain features of different modes of transport- Construct a vehicle. In today's lesson, we are going to be thinking about the different vehicles that we use to travel from one place to another. We will use construction resources to construct a representation of our chosen vehicle. The three key areas that this lesson links to are expressive arts and design, mathematics and understanding the world. As you have been learning about the Little Red Hen- why don't you bake some bread or something yummy. Please remember to help weigh, measure, mix and stir the ingredients or maybe your grownup wont share, like in the story.
