We were looking at camouflage this week we discussed about why animals use camouflage and read Handa's Surprise and looked at how the different animals were camouflaged in the story. Then we had to spot different coloured caterpillars (pieces of string). We discussed how different colours were harder to spot than other colours. After all that hard work we had hot chocolate and marshmallows... Yum! Click on picture below to see more photos.
