Postman visit

 Today we had a visit from a Postman for our topic people who help us.

He told us all about his job delivering letters and parcels and he let us try on different parts of his uniform such as hats, jackets and the bags. We talked about what we need to do when we write a letter and use a stamp.
He explained that during lockdown a lot of the postmen played games with the children such as noughts and crosses on the pavements with chalk.
He also explained that he has to be up early and the best part of his job is when he gets to see different children to explain what he does.
