Today we began our session by lighting 🔥 the fire 🔥.
We then read the story Little Acorn and went on a treasure hunt, looking for objects from the story e.g. Wellington boot, acorn, cottonwool (snow) and story related pictures. We then placed the items in story order and spoke about signs of the seasons.We then explored the environmental area and looked for autumnal items. The children found yellow, red, orange and brown leaves 🍁 and pine cones.
Of course we finished off with a hot chocolate 🍫 and a marshmallow.
