Around the World In Half a Term!!

For our topic this half term we have been exploring and learning about different countries around the world. We have been exploring the similarities and differences that other countries have. Through the use of world maps and Atlas' we have seen where we live in relation to other countries. Some of the countries include UK, China, India, Africa and France.

We have been busy making different foods from around the world such as beef burgers, noodles and banana bread. We all get to weigh the ingredients and talk about what they are and where they come from.

We have explored the countries through the Early years curriculum by the use of our role play areas being a Chinese restaurant and a travel agents. In addition to this we have been making some great creative art with straw Eiffel towers and pyramids from paper, we have made Chinese lanterns, finger print blossom pictures and dragons too.
