Nursery Maths WB 09/01/17

This week in our maths groups we have been learning about prepositions. 

We have been working with the objectives: Shows an interest in shape and space by playing with shapes. Shows interest in shape by sustained construction activity or by talking about arrangements

Shows understanding of prepositions such as ‘under’, ‘on top’, ‘behind’ by carrying out an action or selecting correct picture. (30-50)

We have been using the story 'Were going on a bear hunt' to help us with some of the different language where we went outside and went under, over, behind and inside different areas. 

We have also been using teddies to help us with the correct language and we are getting very good at placing them in, under, next to, behind, on top and inside a box.
