Number formation counting sheets where children counted the space themed objects and wrote the numeral.
Number of alien eyes with play dough - children counted the number of eyes and made them to correspond with the picture.
Star dice game- children each had a counter and had to roll the die to move the correct number of spaces. the aim was to get from the rocket to the Earth counting the stars.
Number recognition alien match- the children would choose a numeral and then count that many aliens to go with their number.
The children were all engrossed in what they were doing and loved the space theme!
