3 Little pigs houses experiment

This week we have been learning about The 3 little pigs'. We listened carefully to the story and then we carried out a scientific experiment to see which houses were the strongest.

We tested different 3 different materials: straw, sticks and bricks. Each one was tested to see the stability of their structure. We became the big bad wolf and we huffed and puffed on each house to see which one stayed standing up.

We made predictions at what we thought would happen then we tested to see if we were correct.

We found out that the brick house was the strongest house and did not blow down in the wind.
