Duplo STEM exploration.

As part of our STEM project we will be learning and discovering through Lego. We will get the opportunity to explore, create, share, work as a team and test different ideas.
This is our 3rd session and we started building a tower with 6 bricks for our warm up. We looked at pictures of rockets and talked about how they fly. We looked at pictures of the earth from space and and looked at pictures of space, stars, the solar system.
For our main task activity we used the large duplo lego sets to build rockets. We got to use our imaginations and explore all the different parts that we can build with. We showed our rockets to each other and explained how they worked and flew. Some rockets has supplies of food, water, fuel and pets!

Each week we will build upon our knowledge to expand our imaginations to make some great creations.
