Twirlywoos Numeracy

Over the last two weeks we have been learning different concepts with the help from the Twirlywoos; Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy, Chick and Peekaboo

We have learnt different concepts such as:

Underneath
up and down
this way, that way
round and round
full
through

Each day we have watched a short episode of the Twirlywoos then each concept has been taught through practical activities for example we have used different objects to go underneath using an obstacle course, we made towers for the Twirlywoos to jump up and down on, we pretended to be the stop go car and went this way and that way, we filled and emptied containers to help us understand full and we made a tunnel to go through. 

We had a great time with the Twirlywoos to help us with our maths.
